Spiro Health Services, portfolio company of Upstream Capital and NewSpring Capital Mezzanine, has acquired Absolute Respiratory Care (“ARC”). Johnston, Rhode Island-based ARC offers a full range of medical equipment and supplies, specializing in providing sleep therapy solutions. ARC’s usage of wireless monitoring and telehealth solutions will help Spiro deliver their goal of providing a leading, seamless technology solution to patients in their home. The acquisition expands Spiro’s reach in eight states and the District of Columbia; Connecticut, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Vermont and Virginia. This is Spiro’s second acquisition since being formed in April of 2020.
